Health Inequalities Improvement Framework for Integrated Care Systems
This project, funded by the Regulators’ Pioneer Fund, aims to develop a voluntary Health Inequalities Improvement Framework to support Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) in evaluating their people and community engagement strategies to tackle health inequalities. Co-designed with National Voices, the Point of Care Foundation, Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organizations, and people with lived experience, the framework will help ICSs reduce health inequalities by ensuring meaningful engagement with people and communities.
Through scoping, co-design, testing phases, the project will incorporate insights from a diverse range of stakeholders to create a practical and impactful tool. The framework is set to launch in February 2025 and will enable ICSs to tackle health inequalities and drive better health outcomes.
