Mental Health Assessment Framework - Online engagement session

We invite mental health providers and key stakeholders to express their interest in attending an upcoming online engagement event focused on the Mental Health Assessment Framework.

Date: Thursday 1 October 2026

Time: 1pm to 4pm

This session will provide an opportunity to hear from Dr Adrian James, Interim Chief Inspector of Mental Health, explore key aspects of the assessment framework and methodology, and share feedback and insights to help inform its ongoing development and implementation. We are keen to hear from a wide range of perspectives across the mental health sector, including providers, representative bodies and partner organisations.

The event will be interactive, offering opportunities for discussion and questions. Your contribution will help ensure that the framework supports high-quality, person-centred care and reflects the realities of delivering and experiencing mental health services.

If you are interested in attending, please complete this expression of interest form by Thursday 17 September 2026. Places may be limited, and we will aim to achieve a balanced representation of attendees from across the sector.

To register your interest, please click the 'Register now' button and complete the form.

We hope you will join us in helping to shape the future of our assessment approach. Your insights and experiences are vital to ensuring the framework works effectively for everyone.
